I finally had a sit-down with the boss last week, who said he was generally happy with my work. He suggested I be a little more "confrontational" with my work style, and that I can afford to be "makulit." All right, I told him, I'll do my best. It's not going to be easy, because it's really not in my nature to be a micro-manager when it comes to certain things in my job. It's almost a little ironic that I have to micro-manage when I'm being told that I have to be more macro, but, hey, I'm flexible. Let's see what happens.
